The collections are also available right from the catalog: on any doll’s card, the skintone, sculpt and hair color names have become links to the matching page. If a doll’s skintone has not yet been confirmed by the manufacturer, it stays plain text, and such dolls are gathered in a separate block at the bottom of the skintones page.

Defa Lucy announces two new dolls — Series 2 PARIS Model NO.09 XTR and Series PUNK Model NO.05 XTR
Sales of both dolls start on October 9, 2026 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time (12:00 PM Eastern Time) on the official website www.defalucy.com. The edition size of each is 1000 pieces, with a limit of 1 doll per customer. Orders ship on or before January 31, 2027.
Both dolls are made on the DF04 head sculpt and the GlamFlex™ Ver 01 body with 14 points of articulation, high-heel feet and interchangeable hands. The skintone of both is Snow, and the lashes are rooted saran. Each comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and a doll stand.

Unfamiliar models — will the SOHO and PARIS Model No.04B story repeat?
In Defa Lucy’s fresh product photos published on September 16, 2026, we spotted dolls that the brand has not previously sold as a separate release. They served as “models” to showcase the new clothing collection.
A similar situation has already happened twice in the brand’s history, and both times the “nameless model” from clothing photos later received its own release.
Series 2 PARIS Model No.04B was first noticed exactly this way — in photos of a separate clothing item, the navy double-breasted trench coat (Navy Double-Breasted Trench Coat) — and only on February 28, 2026 was it released as a standalone limited edition of 250 pieces.
A similar story happened with Series SOHO No.01: the doll also first “showed up” as a clothing model, and the official release (an Asian exclusive, DL015) came noticeably later.
Defa Lucy has not made any official announcements about releasing them on their own, but judging by the precedents, there is definitely a chance to see them as separate models in the catalog.

DEFA LUCY PLAY: a new series of dolls for customizing
On August 17, 2026, DEFA LUCY presented the new collectible series DEFA LUCY PLAY, created specially for collectors who love changing their dolls’ looks, experimenting with style and creating their own versions of characters.
The starting line includes seven models that differ in hair color and skin tone. All the dolls have the new DF11 sculpt and the new Ultraflex Body with 13 points of articulation, interchangeable feet for high-heeled and flat shoes, and interchangeable hands. The base look is a gingham lingerie set complemented by high-heeled sandals.
The line includes the following variants:

Each variant could be produced in no more than 1000 pieces worldwide, but the actual distribution of models was tied to the blind box format. The dolls were packed in branded DEFA LUCY boxes without any indication of the contents and were sent to buyers at random. The maximum was 6 dolls per customer, and the price was $39 per doll.
DEFA LUCY also revealed the probability of getting individual models. For most variants it was 18%. One of the blondes with bangs turned out to be rarer — 8%, and the existence of the rarest Model 7 was not initially disclosed by the company: its probability was only 2%.
Special interest in DEFA LUCY PLAY appeared even before sales began. At the same time as the official presentation on August 17, bloggers published videos with sets of six dolls received from the company. It was in one of these reviews that the ultra-rare model with a 2% drop chance was first shown.
DEFA LUCY PLAY sales started on August 26, 2026, but the entire available batch sold out in only about 10 minutes after sales opened, confirming collectors’ high interest in the new format.

DEFA LUCY introduces the new 247 series with two dolls available for only 24 hours
On July 21, 2026, DEFA LUCY began teasing a new series of collectible dolls, and on July 24 the brand introduced a new format — DEFA LUCY 247. The series name relates to the main sales rule: each model is available to order for only 24 hours, after which order-taking closes.
The first release consisted of two dolls at once — DEFA LUCY 247 Model NO.01 and Model NO.02. Unlike previous limited releases, their edition size was not set in advance. The models were sold on a Made to Order (MTO) basis, so the final edition size was determined by the number of orders placed within the 24-hour window.
Both dolls are built on the GlamFlex™ Body Ver. 01 with 14 points of articulation, interchangeable hands and feet for high-heeled shoes. Both have the DF01 sculpt, rooted saran lashes and a modern casual look with an oversized denim jacket, a hoodie dress with the DEFA LUCY logo and boots made of stretch faux leather.
DEFA LUCY 247 Model NO.01
Made with black saran hair and the Bisque skin tone. Her black denim jacket is individually hand-finished and distressed, so every piece differs from the others.
DEFA LUCY 247 Model NO.02
Has auburn saran hair and the Cameo skin tone. Her look uses a light indigo version of the oversized denim jacket, also finished by hand.
Both models include a heart-shaped mini crossbody bag, metal cat-eye sunglasses, two pairs of interchangeable hands, a numbered certificate of authenticity and a stand.
Each doll cost $95. Full payment was required when placing the order, and shipping was planned on or before November 30, 2026. Thanks to the Made to Order format, collectors did not have to worry about too few copies — the final edition size was set directly by the number of orders.
Thus, DEFA LUCY 247 became the brand’s first format with a 24-hour order window and a floating edition size, and Model NO.01 and NO.02 opened a new series devoted to the recognizable DEFA LUCY style — a mix of everyday fashion and the brand’s distinctive modern aesthetic.

DEFA LUCY opens a new chapter with the SERIES 3 PUNK collection
On June 21, 2026, DEFA LUCY announced the third series of collectible dolls — SERIES 3 PUNK, presenting punk aesthetics to the brand’s fans for the first time. Sales began on June 24 at 9:00 AM PST / 12:00 PM EST exclusively on the official DEFA LUCY website.

DEFA LUCY introduces the first PARIS gift sets, Model NO.08 and NO.8.5 Raven Edition
On May 13, 2026, DEFA LUCY introduced the first gift sets in the company’s history — sets that combine a collectible doll with several ready-made looks. The debut models were SERIES 2 PARIS Model NO.08 and PARIS Model NO.8.5 Raven Edition.
Both dolls were released in a limited edition of 300 pieces and have the DF01 sculpt and the GlamFlex™ Body Ver. 01 with 14 points of articulation, interchangeable hands and feet for high-heeled shoes. Each model cost $150.
PARIS Model NO.08 has pale blonde saran hair and the Ivory skin tone, while Model NO.8.5 Raven Edition has black saran hair and the Cameo skin tone. Both dolls received the same set of clothing: a black bustier mini dress, a black dress with a bow and a white petticoat, a black double-breasted wool coat, a striped knit top and skinny jeans. The set also includes two bags, glasses, gold jewelry, a brooch, shoes, two pairs of interchangeable hands, two metal hangers, a certificate of authenticity and a stand.
Orders for both models opened on May 14 at 9:00 AM PST / 12:00 PM EST, with a limit of no more than one doll of each kind per customer. Shipping was planned on or before August 1, 2026. DEFA LUCY PARIS Model NO.07: a new collectible doll in a dark brown dress
On March 25, 2026, DEFA LUCY introduced SERIES PARIS Model NO.07 — a new collectible doll in a limited edition of 650 pieces.
Sales of the model started on March 27, 2026 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PST) / 12:00 PM Eastern Time (EST). For Taiwan, the start of orders was scheduled for March 28 at 7:00 AM. Orders were expected to ship no later than July 1, 2026. The doll could be bought on the official website and from the official dealer RND Dolls / XClusivelyRND at $95.
The doll has the Caramel skin tone, black saran hair and rooted lashes, which are also made of saran. The model is based on the DF04 sculpt and the signature GlamFlex™ Body Ver. 01 with 14 points of articulation, feet for high-heeled shoes and interchangeable hands.
The PARIS Model NO.07 look includes a dark brown ruched jersey dress, a black oversized faux fur coat and black sheer tights.

On March 10, 2026, Defa Lucy announced two new models of the PARIS series at once — Model NO.05 and Model NO.06. Both have a completely new DF10 face sculpt and became available to order the next day, March 11, at 5:00 PM US Eastern Time.
The edition size of each is 650 pieces worldwide (limit: two dolls per customer). Shipping was planned no later than June 1, 2026. Both dolls are built on the GlamFlex™ Ver. 01 body with 14 points of articulation, high-heel feet and interchangeable hands. Lashes — rooted saran.

Defa Lucy Series 2 PARIS Model No.04B — an exclusive version of the doll that previously modeled separately sold clothing
On February 28, 2026, Defa Lucy Series 2: PARIS Model No.04B was introduced. The new doll became a special release for RND Dolls / XClusivelyRND with an edition of only 250 pieces.
Interest in Model No.04B had appeared even earlier: it was this doll that was spotted in the photos of the Navy Double-Breasted Trench Coat — a separate clothing item from the Defa Lucy Fashion Separates collection. At that time, the doll itself had not been officially introduced.

The main feature of Model No.04B is that its outfit fully repeats the look of Series 2 PARIS Model No.04.
The difference between the two dolls is above all in their appearance. Model No.04 has the Tan skin tone and reddish-copper Auburn Flocked Hair, while 04B has the Snow skintone and black Jet Black Saran hair.

Defa Lucy releases two LUNAR series dolls for Chinese New Year
On January 20, 2026, Defa Lucy introduced two new LUNAR series dolls timed to Chinese New Year. Unlike 2024, when one doll came out on the old body, this time two nearly identical models were released, differing in hair and clothing color.
Pre-orders for both began on January 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST (6:00 AM Taiwan time on January 22). Shipping was planned no later than May 1, 2026. The retail price of each is 95 US dollars.
Accessories: stud earrings, a heart-shaped minaudière purse, a “Horseshoe” bracelet, interchangeable hands (red gloves + Cameo tone), a numbered certificate, a stand.
SERIES LUNAR Model NO.2.5 «Moonlight Edition»
Edition size — 350 pieces. Because of RND Dolls’ limited allocation, sales were held via a lottery (winners were announced on January 25), and part of the edition was sold through the official website.

On December 29, 2025 at 9:00 AM Taiwan time, pre-orders opened for Defa Lucy’s Asian exclusive “SOHO” (item DL015). The doll was available only through RND Dolls and AZONE International. It was not sold on Defa Lucy’s official US website. RND Dolls accepted orders worldwide.
Edition size — 500 pieces. The retail price is 95 US dollars, the deposit is 20 dollars (for international buyers, via PayPal only). Shipping was planned no later than March 1, 2026. Orders for the US were sent by DHL.

On December 12, 2025, Defa Lucy introduced Series 2: PARIS Model No.04 — the fourth model of the PARIS collection and the brand’s final release (put on sale on the official website) in 2025. Pre-orders opened the same day at 5:00 PM EST. The edition size was 650 pieces worldwide, and shipping was planned no later than March 1, 2026.
Model No.04 has the Tan skin tone and a hair texture unusual for the series — closely cropped and dyed a reddish-copper Auburn Flocked Hair shade.

For the fourth model, Defa Lucy chose a combination of warm brown and green shades with classic wardrobe elements.
The accessories set includes: stud earrings; a lingerie set; a Kelly Green patent leather bag; black sheer stockings; Penny Loafer-style shoes; a stand; interchangeable hands; a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Thus, Model No.04 became the first PARIS model with flocked hair, and the Tan skin tone further set it apart from the previous releases of the series.
The company noted that 2025 was a period of active growth for Defa Lucy in the collectible doll segment. The brand thanked collectors for their support and stressed its aim to keep developing its design, experimenting with new solutions and taking buyers’ feedback into account.
In the US, the order was placed through the official Defa Lucy website, and for international buyers the brand named RND Dolls as the seller. Later, Model No.04 also appeared at the Japanese retailer AZONE INTERNATIONAL.
In Japan, the retail price was 17,300 yen before tax / 19,030 yen with tax, and the arrival date was set for February 21, 2026.
After arriving in AZONE stores, Model No.04 was available both for pre-orders and in a small quantity for open sale.

Defa Lucy Series 2 PARIS Model No.03B — an exclusive blonde in an edition of 250 pieces
On November 15, 2025, the exclusive version of Defa Lucy Series 2: PARIS Model No.03B was introduced. The new doll became a variation of the recently released Model No.03 but has a different hair color, trench coat, trousers and bag. The edition size was only 250 pieces.
Model No.03B did not appear in Defa Lucy’s official international store. Sales were organized by the dealer xclusivelyrnd, and some copies were available to buyers from Japan through AZONE INTERNATIONAL. The model later became one of the rarest versions of Series 2 PARIS: copies of Model No.03B were already being listed on the secondary market for considerably more than the original price.

On November 9, 2025, Defa Lucy introduced the new collectible doll Series 2: PARIS Model No.03, dressed in a Parisian Chic style. At the same time, the brand showed the second clothing collection, DEFA LUCY FASHION SEPARATES: COLLECTION 2, which lets you create new looks for Defa Lucy dolls.
Sales of Model No.03 and the new clothing started on November 11, 2025 at 5:00 PM EST.
PARIS Model No.03 · Parisian Chic
The third doll of the PARIS series has reddish-chestnut Auburn Saran hair and the light Snow skin tone. The model uses the signature DF01 sculpt and the GlamFlex™ Body Ver 01 with 14 points of articulation, interchangeable hands and feet for high-heeled shoes.
The edition size of Model No.03 was 650 pieces worldwide. At the start of sales, a limit applied — no more than two dolls per customer.
The main look is built on a combination of classic Parisian aesthetics and modern urban fashion. Under her outerwear, the doll wears a lace lingerie set with a garter belt, a black-and-white striped long-sleeve top and ecru twill trousers with a vegan leather belt.
The look is completed by a British Olive Green trench coat and accessories:

Together with the third PARIS model, the brand introduced Collection 2 Fashion Separates — a set of individual wardrobe items that can be combined with each other and used with already released Defa Lucy dolls.
Unlike ready-made sets, here each item was sold separately. This lets you swap individual elements of a look, mix colors and create your own outfits.

Dolls that appeared in promo photos before the official release
Of particular interest were not only the new wardrobe items but also the dolls on which Defa Lucy showed Collection 2.
In the photos, three dolls appeared alongside the clothing that were not, at that time, among the officially presented Series 2 PARIS models on the Defa Lucy website: a blonde, a red-haired doll and a girl with short bangs.
These dolls later did get their own releases. The red-haired model became known as Series SOHO No.01. Like the other two previously spotted models, it was aimed at the Asian market and did not appear in Defa Lucy’s official international catalog. In collectors’ listings, SOHO No.01 also appears as an Asia Exclusive, with an edition of 500 pieces.
Thus, the Collection 2 photos effectively became collectors’ early look at several future Defa Lucy models at once, even before their official introduction in separate markets.

Defa Lucy opens a new chapter of its collectible line with the PARIS series
In October 2025, Defa Lucy officially wrapped up the first collectible series, ICON, and introduced a brand-new line — SERIES 2: PARIS. With it, the brand showed the long-awaited next-generation GlamFlex™ Body Ver 01, which became one of the most significant updates in the whole history of Defa Lucy collectible dolls.
The new body has 14 points of articulation, interchangeable hands and feet for high-heeled shoes. Compared with previous versions, it is more graceful, anatomically refined and considerably more mobile, which lets collectors create even more natural and varied poses.
On October 13, the company introduced two dolls of the new PARIS series at once, and official sales started on October 15, 2025 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (EST). The new dolls could be bought on the official Defa Lucy website at 85 US dollars excluding shipping, and part of the edition, as usual, went on sale through the official Asian dealer xclusivelyrnd.
The first model of the series — Model No. 01 — has the new DF01 head mold, the light Cameo skin tone and soft pink hair. The doll was dressed in an elegant milky-colored tweed suit consisting of a jacket, a top and a mini skirt. The look was complemented by pearl jewelry, a quilted bag, light faux leather boots and interchangeable hands. The edition size was 650 pieces.
The second model — Model No. 02 — has the same DF01 mold but with the dark Espresso skin tone and black hair. Her look was in a black color scheme and included a tweed jacket, a mini skirt, a bandeau top, pearl jewelry, black boots, a quilted bag and the same set of interchangeable hands. The edition size was also 650 pieces.
Collectors welcomed the new series warmly. Model No. 01 with pink hair was in especially high demand — it sold out fairly quickly. Meanwhile, Model No. 02 remained available on the official website.
Despite positive feedback about the new GlamFlex™ body, collectors actively discussed one of its features. Many questioned the noticeably protruding chest joint, which was clearly visible in some poses and with certain types of clothing. Some fans considered this design decision questionable from an aesthetic standpoint, although most highly praised the greatly increased mobility and the interchangeable hands and feet.

Defa Lucy Love: a play collection of five dolls
In July 2025, the Defa Lucy brand introduced a new collection of play dolls, Defa Lucy Love. It includes five dolls in different color schemes — blue, green, yellow, pink and purple. The first photos of the collection appeared online in late July.
The name Love matches the mood of the series. All five dolls are done in a bright yet pastel color palette and share a common fashionable style with noticeable elements of kawaii aesthetics. The Defa Lucy Love collection consists of five models:

Where was Defa Lucy Love sold?
One of the main places where the new series was sold was AliExpress, where the dolls appeared almost immediately after the introduction. They could be bought in the Defa Toys Store.
For buyers from Russia, the price of one doll with delivery at the time the collection appeared was about 3,000 rubles.
The Love series differs noticeably from the collectible ICON and PARIS dolls that Defa Lucy produces. It is specifically a play line, aimed less at limited editions and certificates and more at bright design, clothing and the chance to actually play with the doll.
Defa Lucy Love became an interesting continuation of the brand’s rapid development in 2025. While Defa Lucy’s collectible series bet on more expensive clothing, new sculpts and styling, Love offered fans a completely different format — bright, colorful and affordable play dolls with memorable looks.
The five dolls of the series look good both individually and together: the blue, green, yellow, pink and purple models effectively form a single rainbow collection. That is why many buyers saw Love not just as a set of separate play dolls but as a full series for collecting.

Defa Lucy introduces the new STUDIO play line
In summer 2025, Defa Lucy expanded its range with the new play series DEFA LUCY STUDIO. Unlike the collectible lines, the new dolls are aimed at a wider audience but have kept the modern design, quality clothing and recognizable brand style.
The first doll of the series was a blonde with a high ponytail, introduced on May 26, 2025. The model has a soft pink cropped turtleneck sweater, a shiny mini skirt and pink accessories. The line’s new branded DEFA LUCY STUDIO packaging debuted alongside her.
A few weeks later, on June 14, 2025, the company introduced the second doll of the line — a blonde with two high pigtails, dressed in a lavender cropped sweater and a matching metallic mini skirt.
On June 16, 2025, Defa Lucy showed the third model of the series — a doll with a dark skin tone in a chartreuse sweater paired with blue metallic shorts. The new doll noticeably expanded the variety of looks in the line.
Besides the three dolls with confirmed release dates, Defa Lucy’s official AliExpress store presents one more model of the series — a doll with chestnut hair in a mint sweater and a metallic pleated skirt.
All models of the line went on open sale through the brand’s official AliExpress store. DEFA LUCY STUDIO let the company offer fans more affordable play dolls with modern looks while keeping the brand’s recognizable aesthetics — Defa Lucy now develops two directions at once: premium collectible dolls for adult collectors and play models for a wider audience.

Defa Lucy completes the first ICON series with the release of Model No. 06
On May 15, 2025, Defa Lucy introduced the final doll of the first collectible ICON line — SERIES 1 ICON Model No. 06. The new doll has light hair and a bright red bomber jacket, becoming a friend for the previous release, Model No. 05. Both dolls share a similar street style and identically constructed denim shorts and shoes.
Sales were set to start on May 21, 2025 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (EST). The doll went on sale on the official Defa Lucy website, and part of the edition, as usual, was available through the official Asian dealer xclusivelyrnd. The edition size was 500 pieces, and the price was 65 US dollars excluding shipping.
Model No. 06 has the articulated Defa Lucy Version 1.75 body with a new torso, the DL01 head mold, rooted lashes and Pale Blonde Saran hair. The look included an oversized T-shirt, distressed denim shorts with studs and a red top. The accessories set consisted of silver hoop earrings, white socks, red sneakers, large glasses, a stand and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
However, on May 18 another pleasant surprise awaited the brand’s fans. The company announced that, together with the start of sales of the new doll, the brand’s own clothing and shoes would for the first time become available separately from the dolls. The range included wide-leg trousers with a belt in two colors, a set of a cropped sweatshirt and leggings, two versions of a varsity jacket with leather sleeves, and a branded baseball cap with the DL monogram.
SERIES 1 ICON Model No. 06 became the final release of the first ICON series, completing the debut chapter of the Defa Lucy collectible line. After this series ended, the company moved on to the next stage of the brand’s development, opening a new page in the history of its collectible fashion dolls.

On April 20, 2025, Defa Lucy introduced the fifth doll of the collectible ICON series — Series 1 ICON Model No. 05. The new doll immediately drew collectors’ attention with an unusual combination of the dark Caramel skin tone and bright copper-red hair, becoming one of the most striking releases of the line at that time.
The first promo photo showed the new doll together with the previously released Model No. 03. The next day the brand published additional images, and the final teaser was a photo showing three releases of the series together — Model No. 03, Model No. 04 and Model No. 05, clearly demonstrating the development of the collectible line.

Defa Lucy introduces two new collectible dolls at once — Series 1 ICON Model No. 03 and Model No. 04
On March 16, 2025, Defa Lucy introduced the new collectible doll SERIES 1 ICON Model No. 03, and the very next day, March 17, unexpectedly announced another release — Model No. 04. Sales of both models started at the same time on March 19 through the brand’s official website and the official dealer xclusivelyrnd.
Both new dolls have the updated articulated Defa Lucy Version 1.75 body with the new torso first introduced in the LUNAR series. However, the main difference of these releases was a completely new packaging concept.
For the first time in the history of the Defa Lucy collectible line, the dolls came in large gift boxes with a separate tray for clothing and accessories. The dolls themselves were dressed only in a lingerie set, while all the other clothing and accessories were neatly placed separately. In addition, for the first time the set included small surprise boxes with some accessories hidden inside.
Model No. 03 has the Tan skin tone, light highlighted hair and a clothing set that includes an oversized T-shirt, shorts and a long coat. The set also included a faux crocodile leather bag, socks, a baseball cap, hoop earrings with a “floating” pearl, glasses, combat boots, a metal hanger, a stand and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Model No. 04 was distinguished by the light Pink skin tone, long black hair and a warmer color scheme of the outfit. Instead of a T-shirt, the doll has an oversized hoodie and a camel coat, and the accessories set was complemented by tights and gold earrings.
The edition size of each model was 500 pieces. After sales started, both dolls were in high demand: first Model No. 03 sold out completely, and soon after that the edition of Model No. 04 ran out as well.
Each doll was sold at 75 US dollars excluding shipping. Compared with previous releases, the price was increased by 10 dollars, which coincided with the new gift packaging and expanded contents.

Defa Lucy releases the first LUNAR series doll for Chinese New Year
In January 2025, Defa Lucy began a mysterious teaser campaign for a new collectible release. On January 16, a photo of a doll’s back with a striking tattoo on the shoulder blade and a laconic caption “LUNAR 01.29.2025” appeared on the brand’s official account. Fans immediately noticed not only the date of the future release but also the unusual back, which hinted at serious changes in the doll’s body.
On January 21, the company continued to reveal details of the new doll, showing a photo with the hairstyle and partly visible makeup. Two days later, on January 23, a photo of the doll’s face was published, and on January 28 and 29 the brand presented the full promo images of the upcoming release.
On January 29, 2025, the official launch of SERIES: LUNAR MODEL NO. 01 took place — Defa Lucy’s first collectible doll dedicated to celebrating Chinese New Year. The release was available to buy both on the brand’s official website and through the Asian official dealer xclusivelyrnd.
The main feature of the new doll was the new Defa Lucy Version 1.75 body with a completely reworked torso. It was on this torso that the decorative tattoo shown in the first teasers was placed. The new torso became the first major update to the construction of Defa Lucy collectible bodies since the launch of the ICON series.
The doll has the DL01 head mold, rooted lashes, long black saran hair and the light Snow skin tone. The look consisted of an oversized knit sweater, an asymmetric pleated skirt and red leggings. During the announcement, the mystery of the black bodysuit that fans had noticed in the early teaser photos was also revealed. It turned out that the company had prepared a separate line of basic bodysuits in black and red. They were sold separately at 15 US dollars each excluding shipping.
In honor of Chinese New Year, the brand ran a special promotion: when buying any two dolls on the official website, the buyer received one bodysuit of their choice as a gift. The promotion ran for a limited time and was a pleasant addition to the launch of the new series.

In early December 2024, Defa Lucy announced the third release of its collectible ICON line. The first image of the new doll was published on December 3, but fans were shown only the doll’s face. It was already clear then that the upcoming release would have a dark skin tone new to the series.
The next day, December 4, the brand published a shot from the outfit’s production and said the doll would go on sale on December 6 on the official Defa Lucy website. At the same time it was confirmed that the release would also be available through the official dealer xclusivelyrnd.
The full presentation took place on December 6, 2024. In the published photos, the new Series 1 ICON Model No. 02 was shown next to the two previous releases of the series. The doll has short black hair, the Cocoa skin tone and a bright red puffer jacket, which made her stand out noticeably from her predecessors.

Like the previous ICON models, the new doll has the DL01 head mold and the articulated Defa Lucy Version 1.5 body with updated hand sculpting. On October 24, 2024, sales began of the second collectible doll of the Defa Lucy ICON line — Series 1 ICON Model No. 1.5. The new doll was available both through the official dealer xclusivelyrnd and on the official Defa Lucy website. The retail price was 65 US dollars excluding shipping.
Unlike the debut release, the edition size of the new version was significantly increased to 888 pieces. Even so, the doll enjoyed steady demand and eventually sold out completely. As of today the release is considered finished, and all copies of the limited edition have found their owners.
The model has the same DL01 head mold, rooted lashes, the articulated Defa Lucy Version 1.5 body with the new hand sculpting and the light Snow skintone. The doll was rooted with long light saran hair and came with smoky translucent glasses, gold-plated earrings, cast boots, a stand and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
In body construction and contents, the release almost completely repeated the first collectible doll, Series 1 ICON Model 01. Both models used the same body with molded underwear (briefs) and a similar clothing set: an oversized lined blazer and a knit bodysuit. The main differences between the releases were the color scheme of the look and the hair color.
The release of Model No. 1.5 confirmed collectors’ interest in Defa Lucy’s new premium line and became one of the brand’s largest collectible releases. As of 2026, the largest edition size of a Defa Lucy release is 888 dolls worldwide.

Defa Lucy shows the production process of a new collectible doll
In October 2024, Defa Lucy continued to build fans’ interest in its next collectible release. From October 16 to 24, the brand’s official account published a series of photos and videos showing various stages of production of the upcoming doll.
The published shots showed finished heads with the signature makeup, the doll assembly process, and rows of fully dressed dolls waiting to be packed.
A little over a month later, on December 1, 2024, Defa Lucy published photos of finished dolls in branded boxes and said the range on the official website would soon be expanded. The doll was shown on October 24, 2024. The company also confirmed that the new doll would soon become available to buy on the official website www.defalucy.com.

Defa Lucy introduces its first collectible doll — Series 1 ICON Model 01
On September 29, 2024, Defa Lucy officially introduced the first collectible doll in its history — Series 1 ICON, Model 01. This release marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of a brand that for more than 20 years had been known primarily for its play fashion dolls.
In the announcement, company representatives noted that they aimed to create a modern premium-level collectible doll that combines classic production methods with modern technology. The new project was named Series 1 “ICON” — a series of collectible dolls inspired by modern fashion and pop culture.
The first model of the series has the new DL01 head mold, deep red saran hair, rooted lashes and the articulated Defa Lucy Version 1.5 body with new hand sculpting. The doll’s torso remained a “play” one with molded briefs. The doll was released in the light Snow skintone and dressed in a stylish set consisting of an oversized fully lined blazer with a metal snap and a cotton jersey bodysuit with a back zipper.
The set also included translucent smoky glasses, gold-plated earrings, cast boots, a stand and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
The edition size was only 250 pieces, and the recommended price was set at 65 US dollars. Pre-orders and sales were made exclusively through the specialized dealer xclusivelyrnd.
The release of Series 1 ICON Model 01 was a historic event for the Defa Lucy brand and began a new collectible line aimed at adult fashion doll fans and collectors.

The story of the collectible series announcement
In 2024, Defa Lucy began gradually building interest in its first collectible release. The first hints of the new project appeared in the summer on the brand’s official accounts.
On July 23, 2024, the company logo was published on a bright yellow background without any additional explanation. Later, on September 25, fans were shown the packaging design of the future collectible dolls for the first time. Two days after that, on September 27, the brand presented darkened teaser photos of the first collectible release, keeping the intrigue about the new doll’s look.
However, the first signs of preparation for the new series appeared even earlier. In May 2024, Defa Lucy’s official account published a photo of a doll unknown at the time with the caption: “New look #DefaLucy #Series1 #ComingSoon”. But the post was deleted soon after it was published, which sparked active discussion among collectors and fans of the brand.
Defa Lucy is a popular line of budget Barbie-format fashion dolls produced by the Chinese company Jieyang DEFA Industry Co. for about 25 years. Over that time, the brand has become widespread in many markets thanks to its affordable price and wide variety of looks and play sets.
